Shaking versus stirring
Recent medical research has posted findings showing that gin shaken instead of stirred contains healthful anti-oxidents. Was 007 ahead of his time?
Too much vermouth - 60 years experience
The best martinin is from Gin taken from the freezer, shaking the bottle, pouring, and adding pickled onions and/or garlic stuffed olives, then facing toward Italy and whispering "vermouth". (this comes from a martini drinker who has used this recipe for the past 60 years.)
The most refreshing drink around the world!
Good Gin Martinis are the grand finale to any day..don't know why I drank scotch most of my life! Bombay Saphire is refreshing!
simpily a classic
This is the classic Martini. No fancy additions, no gimmicks, just Gin, dry vermouth and green olives, like it should be. Keep it simple!
THIS IS THE BEST
This combination is the classic one, and the best one than whichever other. Ve the council.
Simplicity Is Best!
THE classic Martini. Adding other ingredients only clouds the issue. If you want it REALLY DRY, keep your Finest Gin in the freezer & your Best Dry Vermouth in the fridge. Mix together in a frozen double martini glass with a swizzle, add the perfect olive & you'll have the perfect arrid martini!
An elegant drink
Stir, don't shake! Try adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, then use a piece of filter paper (coffee filters work fine) to strain the mixture. This gives a clean and clear Martini that not only tastes great, but is aesthetically pleasing as well.
Truly, an exemplary martini!
Simple and perfect, this timeless recipe, when coupled with quality ingredients, emanates status, and a sense of arrival.
