Smooth but potent.
Tasty drink - not too sweet, but sweet enough for non-hardcore martini drinkers. I re-dubbed it the "Vintage Seahawk", because the way I mixed it, the hue ranged from a nice deep blue through the top two-thirds of the glass to a perfect marine green at the bottom part of the glass - the exact colors of the Seattle Seahawks' vintage jerseys. It seemed fitting since I first tried it on Super Bowl Sunday.
Try some peach schnapps and a lime for a new twist!
Add 1 part peach snapps to this and 1/2 a lime and it really makes this velour slide down your throat!!
pretty and potent
very smooth, touch of sweet but be aware that this is not a sissy drink -- may look harmless but at this ratio of mixing it has a kick
awesome!
I'm very impressed with this drink....the consistency....the smoothness....it's awesome!!!!
A nice twist ...
Wonerful sweet twist on the crantini( nice color too). Also known as the Lavender Martini (Velour is a "way cooler" and retro 70's name). For an added twist serve the chilled vodka and Blue curacao (pale blue) with Chilled cranberry juice on the side, so the recepient can create the custom lavender "hue" of choice. (Very classy)
SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH
Pretty drink, too! Looks like 2000 Flushes.
