Ingredients:
3Part(s)Bombay SaffireGin
1Part(s)Dry Vermouth
2GarnishBlue Cheese Stuffed Olives

Instructions:
Start with pitted green olives. If you only have olives with pimentos, remove the pimento! stuff the olives with the bleu cheese. Shake the gin and vermouth in your shaker and pour over the olives in a martini glass.

Notes:
To make stuffing the olives easier, mash a small amount of bleu cheese on a cutting board with a spoon or fork to soften it, then use a butter knive to stuff it in the olives.

The First is always the BEST!
I thoroughly enjoyed my First Martini (and it happened to be this one) at Eddie Martini's in Wisconsin. I usually drink wine, but of course had to have a martini on my birthday at Eddie Martini's. It was WONDERFUL! I would highly recommend it to everyone! ENJOY!!!
Easy
These are great! And I have the easiest way to stuff those little green guys with bleu cheese, the Olive Express. Check it out at www.oliveexpress.net. Best utensil you can buy for stuffing olives!
Blue cheese- What a wonderful idea!
Try placing the small amount of vermouth in a martini glass and then freeze the whole thing for a couple of hours. The glass has a lovely frost to it and the vermouth keeps the martini cold to the last drop.
Simple and Savory
I've completely enjoyed this martini for years. It is equally as good with Bombay Blue Sapphire Gin, as well as Ketel One Vodka. This being my cocktail of choice at good steakhouses, allows me to skip appetizers--the stuffed olives are deliciously satisfying!
Try a more robust gin
This martini needs a more flavorful gin to fully complement the strong cheese and olive combination. I recommend Tanqueray Ten or Citadelle or Junipero if you can find it. I buy large pitted ranch olives and crumbled blue cheese. Smoosh some cheese between your thumb and forefinger and pack it in. Wipe off any loose excess to keep from making a cloudy martini. I like to let the cheese soak up some gin flavor so I try really hard not to eat those little flavor bombs until the very end. It is tough to wait. :-)
Good Either Way.
My local Martini bar calls this one the Dirty Martini and it is one of my favourites. I've had it with both Gin and Vodka (not at the same time), either way it's an excellent drink. It must be famous by now, I've heard alot of different people comment on how good it is.
Gourmet Delight
This martini was my first! I tried it at the Red Square bar at Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. It was great, the bleu cheese stuffed olive compliments the drink well. This is what I will be drinking for New Years.
Pretty Fantastic
I had one of these at the Church Lounge. They call it Ten Commandments...wow.
