Q: Who named Martinis Online “the official martini resource for the entire planet”?
A: Frank did. Right before he died.
Q: Who’s Frank?
A: Get the hell off our site!!
Q: Sorry about that...You always say ‘we', how many people work at Martinis Online?
A: Work! that’s priceless! We aren’t sure how many people ‘work’ here: we’re like a collective, many contribute to the well being of Martinis Online – like the Borg (that’s right, a Star Trek reference – but before you call us Geeks, answer us this: Who’s the swingingest cat of the 23rd century? James T. Kirk, baby!).
Q: Are you this arrogant in real life?
A: Arrogant? This isn’t arrogance; this is liquid charm brought on by the soothing embrace of junipers, the sweet caress of vermouth, the constant poking of little cocktail swords…
Q: is it possible and/or advisable to make pitchers of martinis ?
A: It’s possible but that’s pretty much the equivalent of like using your grandmother’s ashes as kitty litter. It can be done but no one’s going to be impressed.
Q: What can I substitute for a shaker?
A: You could stir the martini. Many would even argue that you'll get better results stirring your martinis. Many people are dumb.
Q: In your recipes, you say a "part". How much is a part?
A: You're kidding right? A part is however much you want it to be. It's not a specific amount.
Q: 2 parts is equal to how many shots of alcohol?
A: Seven
Q: I have only bombay gin and martini vermouth how do i combine to make martini
A: Take them back to the store and ask for a refund because you're too stupid to drink. You can't afford to risk losing any more brain cells.
Q: I recieved a martini set for Chrismas, I do not know what the little paddle looking thing with a spring in it is. Can someone please tell me what it is and what it is used for?
A: It's called a Hawethorn strainer. You use it to strain the ice when you're pouring the martini out of the shaker.
Q: How much is a splash?
A: Slightly more than a dash.
Q: What can you do to prevent your shaker top from getting stuck on the bottom?
A: You could spend a little more time at the gym.
Q: Does it matter whether the ice is in cubes or crushed or cracked?
A: I prefer cubes because they're generally more solid. You don't want the ice to break up at all if possible while shaking. Anything that breaks off will melt and dilute the martini.
Q: What is sambuca?
A: It's a liqueur with an Anise flavour and smell that's most commonly associated with black licorice. It's most commonly found in a clear form but is also available in black which is considerably stronger.
Q: Does James Bond stir his Martini's or does he Shake them! I think he stirs.
A: Shaken, not stirred.
Q: Where do I go to get the answer to the question I just asked prior to this one?
A: Check back to this page from time to time. We'll answer the questions eventually.
Q: Should you eat the olives first?? or after you've drank the martini??
A: Do you need someone to tell you what to wear too?
Q: WHAT DO YOU MEAN ON 1 PART ? IS THAT ONE SHOT?
A: NO! IT'S THREE SHOTS!!! CAPS LOCK SUCKS!!
Q: Can a martini lover not love the Original Martini??
A: Only if you're ready to have real martini lovers snicker every time you say that.
Q: What are the differences between "shaken" and "stirred"?
A: Shaking the martini is quicker and looks more impressive but your martini won't be as pure since small shards of ice break off while shaking and melt into your mix.
